The Attic Windows Class

Class Description:

Quilting class - intermediate sewing level helpful, with knowledge of sewing machine function, cutting (Olfa cutting or with templates) and assembly of quilts.

Instructor: Kathy Rickabaugh has been quilting now for over 25 years and teaching quilting techniques to groups since 1985. She’s been taking quilting classes from experts in the field for the last 10 years regularly. She brings her love for quilting and teaching experience together to offer expertise in special quilting techniques. She belongs to Pajaro Valley Quilt Association which presents yearly one of the largest and most impressive quilt shows in California.

If you have ever wanted to make a picture or scenic quilt, a theme print is perfect for this pattern.

Required book: Attic Window quilts with a view, by Diana Leone & Cindy Walter, only available from Eddie’s Quilting Bee, 408-830-9505. Their new location is: 480 S. Mathilda Ave.,Sunnyvale. From 280 take De Anza Blvd to Matilda. From 85 take El Camino Real and go to Matilda, One block from the corner of El Camino Real and Matilda. It is on the corner of Matilda and Olive.

Consider a material that has a number of objects that are not all the same. You may use scenic prints and then use the window ledge to separate. You will need a light, medium and dark fabric for window, sash & ledge.
