Kathy teaches the Stack-n-whack method on this two day class. The magic of cutting the pinwheels all at once to create a different effect with each block is quite amazing. She will demonstrate the cutting technique in the 1st class and give finishing instructions to put the quilt together in the 2nd session.
The quilts at the bottom of this page are a sample of what you can make if you attend.
If you would like assistance in picking materials or coordinating fabrics contact Judy's to help you.
Hope you have had a chance to look at your requirements list. The book, Magic Stack n Whack Quilts, by Bethany Reynolds, is required and a working machine. We will be making the Kaleidoscope Pinwheel quilt. For the materials yardage check page 29. The measurement of the repeat is key. This would be the main fabric. You will need the main fabric and background block fabric, A and B, look carefully at the chart.
You will love the results of this stack and whack method. I'm having so much fun with it and my quilting buddies. What a treat for you to see the amazing magic of fabric kaleidoscopes.
